A serious year-end review is not a list of what went wrong or a recommitment to the same goals that didn't happen last year. It's a genuine examination that produces clarity about what actually matters.

The Questions That Matter

On results: What did I actually accomplish this year? What results am I most proud of?

On growth: How am I different at the end of this year than I was at the beginning?

On relationships: Which relationships deepened this year? Which ones atrophied?

On values alignment: What does how I actually spent my time reveal about my actual values versus my stated ones?

Making It Count

Block half a day, alone, away from your usual environment. Write the answers. The year-end review that produces real insight is the one that's honest about failure as readily as success.
