There's a type of man that every room notices but few can explain. He doesn't talk the most. He doesn't perform the most. He doesn't fill every silence with sound. But when he speaks, people listen.
What Quiet Confidence Actually Is
Quiet confidence is the state of a man whose self-worth is not contingent on external validation. He doesn't need to be the most impressive person in the room because he's not trying to convince anyone of anything.
Building It
Practice speaking less than you want to in conversations. Notice the urge to fill silences and resist it. Let other people have the space.
Practice having opinions you don't share. The man who can think something clearly and simply not say it is a man with genuine interior life, not just a broadcast antenna.
